The Atlantic Book Awards Society (ABAS) is a registered non-profit organization with the mandate “to promote and acknowledge excellence in Atlantic Canadian writing and book publishing through an annual awards ceremony and related events.”

The 2025 Atlantic Book Awards were presented on June 5th, in a Gala ceremony emceed by CBC Nova Scotia’s Amy Smith, and held at the Halifax Central Library. Congratulations to all the winners, listed here, and to all the shortlisted authors and titles.
